This month's Esri seminar will focus on Esri training resources. Jack Dangermond announced at the Esri User Conference that all virtual classes will be free to users up-to-date on maintenance (which includes the Library).
Paul Holcombe, a Training Solutions Consultant with Esri, supporting the Federal Civilian and Sciences sectors, will walk us through the available resource.
Mr. Holcombe has a diverse background in adult learning, with more than 15 years of experience in curriculum delivery and development. He has worked directly with many federal agencies, having managed training programs, as well as teams of instructors and facilitators in the public sector. Prior to joining the Esri team, he served as Training Program Manager with the IJIS Institute, where he managed a national training program for the adoption and implementation of information sharing standards through a joint effort with the US Department of Justice and the US Department of Homeland Security. In addition to his experience in the public sector, he has served as an applications and soft skills instructor in the private sector, where he provided geodemographic segmentation training to Fortune 500 companies.
The meeting will be held in the Law Library Media Center, LM-240.
