HI,
Library of Congress archivist David Jackson and I have just contributed a piece to the LOC Recorded Sound Section blog on a recently preserved broadcast in our collection. It's a 1946 radio broadcast of a reading of John Hersey's "Hiroshima," which at the time had just been published in the New Yorker Magazine:

Alas, at the moment, you can only listen to it in the Library of Congress's Recorded Sound Reference Center in Washington, DC, but we hope to post at least an excerpt of it soon.
