Subject: Bijou update
I visited Mr. Bijou yesterday. He has been moved to the GW Hospital.
While I was there he was moved OUT of the ICU and down to a regular room, so his condition is improving.
The unfortunate thing is that the GW doctors aren't sure he has Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, though he likely has something fun within the same "family" (Lime disease, for example). So they're still doing tests to try and identify the "infection of indeterminate origin."
His mom was predicting that he'd go home this weekend, but that isn't a done deal by any stretch. So it's still uncertain when he might be able to return.
Think good thoughts!
