Hi Tiffany,
I am not sure whether he recorded in the States. But there are three
discs which were recorded on the elusive Ultima label in Berlin around
1908 or 1909.
They were made in a "hill-and-dale" process and cannot be played on
normal record players. The details are as follows:

I do NOT have the actual records, but now you know what to ask for among
operatic collectors (most likely in Europe).
