DIGITIZING HIDDEN SPECIAL COLLECTIONS AND ARCHIVES - 2017
From the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR), Washington, D.C.
DEADLINE: April 3, 2017 - Initial Proposal Deadline (Final proposal round is by invitation only)
PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM: to digitize and provide access to non-digital collections of rare or unique content in cultural heritage institutions, in order to enhance the emerging global digital research environment. This program is made possible by support from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
GRANT AMOUNTS: Allowable requests for 2017: For single-institution projects: between $50,000 and $250,000. For collaborative projects: between $50,000 and $500,000.
