Currently? No, I can't say that it is directly useful to our users currently. In the future? Yes, I believe it is likely that it will be useful in the future. I think in the future we will not have string-based authorized access points. I think these metadata fields will be used by users to help identify the entity they want.
If you want to call that "theory", that's fine. But my opinion on "is it likely" is yes.
