The difference hit home for me with the triangles on the Grateful Dead's
"Unbroken Chain", from the "Mars Hotel" album. The flac version I created
from my CD copy sounded fine. The MP3 sounded like I was listening to a
square wave. Higher bit rate made a big difference, Ogg Vorbis was better
at the same bitrate.
