I did a little googling, and found that Mr. Powell died in 1937, so I think that it still possible that a radio recording of him exists. Very little radio survives from before 1935, but that was the year that the networks started recording and saving SOME of their broadcasts. Not everything was recorded, and not everything has survived. You mention an NBC program from 1932, and I'm sure that doesn't exist, but many shows from 1935 to 1937 do survive. The NBC Collection is at the Library of Congress. I suggest you contact the Recorded Sound Reference Center at [log in to unmask]
