I recently inherited many LPs (some still in the cellophane wrapper) that
smell musty and show some white spots on the covers. They were stored in a
damp basement environment.
I haven't had a chance to sort through them yet.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to clean them up while maintaining the
integrity of the cover? I plan to use plastic sleeves for the "good" ones
and I have a Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine; so cleaning the actual
record should not be a problem.
