According to Dave Lennick he was okay a couple of days ago, but it's
been a long slog for folks around Houston and, with a storm this size,
anything can happen and usually does. I still haven't seen whether that
plastics chemical plant north-east of Houston went boom yet. My mother
was born and lived in the Houston area and I still have photos in the
family archives of another major flood from c. 1920. I'd have to dig out
the photos to see if one is dated on the back to know for sure when it
happened. Could have been anywhere from 1910 to 1930.
