I have just seen a story saying that a major copyright decision in the "Flo
and Eddie" case, just handed down in Florida, confirms what we already
know, that there is no US federal copyright protection for recordings made
before 1972. The Supreme Court of Florida also appears to have
specifically rejected an attempt to get Florida to recognize a state law
copyright claim, as exists in a few other states, stating that no such
thing exists in Florida. I have to get the decision and read it.
