Ben-Set your original sampling rate to 24/96,000 or whatever max you can 
transfer. For Dart Pro - it doesn't accept 24 bit and will corrupt the file. 
I like Dart because of the filter builder, and you can also change speed by 
adjusting sample rate.

I do a minimal de-hum first for 60 hz as a handshake with the program.

I have established safe settings for decrackle -   At 96,000/16 I can set 
decrackle to 80. Usual max at 44,100/16 is 30 although for very dirty 
trumpet an some more complex voices 20 is suggested.

I hate getting to the hot trumpet solo at the end and found that decrackle 
has introduced distortion. Running lower settings multiple times lets you 
clean up a record effectively with less intervention. I have a filter set at 
80 to run 5 times before I look to see what clicks are still left.

Dartpro MT has boosted speed fro decrackle and I just run repeatedly until 
the numbers are below 5,000 .

I don't even listen to the record until I have done the next steps - which 
are resampling to 22050  and then adjusting sample rate to 51598 for 78 rpm. 
I then resample to 44,100/16

33 / 22050 = 75 / 49500
33 / 22050 = 76.6/50633
33 / 22050 = 78 / 51598
33 / 22050 = 80 / 52880

If I am doing fast dub with the VRII this next table shows settings

Record at 78 and adjust to 75 rpm
78 / 22050 = 75 / 21201       x2 = 42402            78 / 96,000 = 75 / x

Record at 78 and adjust to 76.6
78 / 22050 = 76.6 / 21654             X2 =  43308

Record at 78 and adjust to 80 rpm
   78/44100 =    80/45230

Edison / Columbia /
78 / 22050 = 80 / 22615     78/44100=80/45230



I use declick to reduce hiss - which on a 78 is a combination of a lot of 
little clicks sounding as hiss. Discretion with this filter is important as 
overuse will muddy the sound.

Your program bay use a different technique to correct the speed.
