My apologies if this has been discussed already in the past, but will
seasons in intervals still be supported by ISO 8601?

I have found a related discussion about seasons in intervals for the
original EDTF spec in the archive [1], but the draft ISO 8601-2
document does not make any mention of this to the best of my knowledge.
Specifically, section 4.4 and Annex A  seem to imply that seasons in
intervals are not allowed — is that correct?
