I know this is primarily about seafood, but I recommend Maisy's as one of the best options closest to the hotel: https://www.maisysbaltimore.com/ I've only eaten brunch there, but it was fantastic.
Also within two blocks, the B&O: http://www.bandorestaurant.com/index.html
And we had a very nice meal at Brio - a few blocks south on the waterfront: https://www.brioitalian.com/index.html
For fine dining in East Harbor there are at least 3 seafood oriented restaurants:
Charleston, is one of the top rated downtown restaurants: charlestonrestaurant.com
Oceanaire Seafood Room: http://menus.theoceanaire.com/OABA_dinn.pdf
Loch Bar with live music every night (check out the seafood towers): http://www.lochbarbaltimore.com/baltimore/menu/

Faidley's looked like the best choice close to the hotel. G & M is famous for crabs but their Lithicum Heights location is probably an Uber ride too far. Thanks, Steve, for the tip about the fish sandwich in the General Market. That's my lunch destination every day!
