Reminder: the training will start in about two hours.
Learn more about the Opposing Viewpoints database, which is a complete
source for information on social issues, including articles, topic
overviews, statistics, primary documents, links to websites, and full-text
magazine and newspaper articles (funded by OSD), and a great resource for
students writing position papers. Two sessions are available.
Here are the links for the webinars:
7 May 0900 EST (US) [1500 Central European Time]:
7 May 1400 EST (US): https://sfmwr.acms.com/opposingviewpoints2
Sound will be through your computer's speakers. We will record a session and
make it available afterward for those unable to participate in real time.
Please note: you may want to try the links prior to the testing. Some recent
increased network security has blocked some websites, especially in Europe.
You may need to use a commercial internet connection to access the training.
