Response from tapeconversions.com Bob Chicko:

Robert,

Yes, I can read 9 track tape, 6250 BPI in IBM Standard label format and
other formats to HDD, then to CD, USB stick, .... @$75 / tape

Yes to VAX TK50 & 70. These are a bit harder because the tapes usually
are sticky. I have to bake (in an oven) the tapes for 24 to 48 hours to
render the tapes readable also at $75 per tape.

I am currently building a log cabin about 2 hours from my home and spend
most of my time at the job site. So turn around time will be in 2 to 3
weeks, as opposed to 4 or 5 days. I will be home the week of june - 10
to june 14.

Let me know if you are interested.

My error.  This company is out of business. See

Will keep looking..  there was a Los Alamos / Sandia labs spinoff a few years back- pricey as I now recall.

Muller Media has been added to George Blood's operation and is no longer
a separate operation. I think Chris Muller is gone, but I suspect George
and the team can do a good job.

Despite Dave's confidence in me, I can't do it. I can do many
instrumentation tapes, but data tapes are a different breed. I think I
have a head, but that's the end of it.

Cheers,

Richard
