The US Army Medical Department Center and School (AMEDDC&S) is located at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The Center is where the Army Medical Department formulates its medical organization, tactics, doctrine, and equipment. The School is where the Army educates and trains all of its medical personnel.
*Serve as the systems administrator for the library's automation functions/programs.
*Maintain reliability on and off-campus access to electronic resources.
*Keep abreast of library technology evaluate the need for new and/or upgraded automation requirements.
*Catalog subject headings to information resources using National Library of Medicine and Library of Congress for a wide variety of information resources.
*Assesses the quality and appropriateness of information services provided by the library and participate in the development and implementation of short and long-range plans.
