Dear Bob,
What you have is a set of recordings made by Universal in Chicago. Fibre needles went the way of the buggy whip. You can use any cartridge suitable for broad groove discs, but you may have to try several sizes and shapes of styli. Seth Winner has extensive experience with aluminum discs; ask him.
If your discs are in unworn condition, I would think you have a rarity.

Hi Bob,
I transferred many embossed aluminum discs in the Wm Savory Collection and found 2.5mil conical (truncated or not)
tracked them best.
