My opinion is that for something advertised as “audiophile” it is quite reasonably priced

“The CVS-14 is recommended for both audiophile and vintage records.”

As far as I know, vintage Rek-O Kuts were puck drive, not direct drive. This looks a lot lik a modified Technics SL-1200.

But I might get one if I needed a turntable! :-)
