Hmm,
Better than a Studer Model 80? I don't think so and one can still buy a
(revised) Model 80. I have an Otari MTR 15 that has way more
capabilities than what is about to be offered from Thorens and cost less
when it was new. And, it's electrical & mechanical specs are about as
good as it gets for that format. That said, it's great to see the analog
tape revival because it means that the supply chain will last a little
longer.
