open position on SAA's Oral History Section Steering Committee.

/Vice-Chair (3 year commitment, as Vice-Chair, Chair, and Past Chair)/
The vice-chair/chair-elect serves as acting chair in the absence of the
chair, organizes the annual meeting of the section, sets the agenda of
the Steering Committee, and participates as a member of the Steering
Committee in all its activities. This is an officer level position.
Expect approximately 2-4 hours of committee work a month.
/Steering Committee Member (2 year commitment, 2 open positions) /
Steering Committee Member assists the SC in setting and completing the
section's annual work. Recently the OHS focused on improving
communication outlets, collaborating with affiliated SAA sections and
aligned organizations, and establishing an Oral History program within
SAA. Expect approximately 1-2 hours of committee work a month.
If interested, please submit a headshot and brief bio/candidate
statement (1-2 paragraphs each) describing your interest in serving on
the Steering Committee by Friday, May 31, 2019. You must be a member of
SAA to run for a position. You can submit your interest, along with any
