Hi John,
I couldn't agree more. I only use the Naks for playback while
transferring. For inspection and exercising (Fast-forward, Rewind,
etc.), I use thrift store specials that are disposable when they break
and those "thrift store specials" are fully tested before they see any
customers tapes.
