We have an opening for the position of Sound Archives Metadata Librarian<https://careersearch.stanford.edu/jobs/sound-archives-metadata-librarian-6687> at Stanford University. The person in this position will be principally responsible for creating metadata for items / collections of Stanford Libraries Archive of Recorded Sound.
We are seeking a librarian who would be excited to work with historical sound recordings in many formats, to create metadata for these resources in RDA and DACS, to contribute to innovative projects of Stanford Libraries and beyond, to be active in national music library / sound archives communities, to be a valued member of our Music Metadata Services team, and to live in the vibrant and diverse San Francisco Bay Area (with its excellent climate).
