When I reflect on the items in the registry, I wonder what future generations might think of us and what we valued. I look at the list and see a proliferation of popular music performers, many of whom couldn't even sing on pitch, versus the absence of our highly trained musicians like the Cleveland Orchestra and George Szell. Am I the only person who thinks this list is a misrepresentation of the best of our culture.
