Hello,

Taking a stab here in case anyone knows if these broadcasts related to the burning of the Normandie (USS Lafayette) exist.

2/9/1942, WNYC: Speech given by Fiorello La Guardia in the afternoon about subway fares. It was cut short by someone telling him that the Normandie was on fire. 

2/9/1942, WMCA, Jimmy Powers, show is about the Normandie fire with call-ins

I’ve checked NARA, LOC, WNYC, and RadioGoldIndex so any information on these or any other broadcasts related to the Normandie fire would be appreciated.  Or other avenues to pursue.
