I bought a box of single-edge blades from our local Ace store a couple of years ago and they were coated with grease. NG for tape cutting.

When I was editing magnetic tape four decades ago, I used single edge
blades sold in packs of fifty or 100 by Ace Hardware stores. We didn't use
them too often before discarding and kept them well away from magnetic
fields. I cannot recall ever having a problem with them. Ace Hardware is
still around but I haven't had to buy any s/e blades in a long time.
Happy Thanksgiving.
