Dear ARSC community,
We at the British Library are trying to get a better handle on our stylus use for shellac digitisation, and we’re wondering what other people consider to be a reasonable life expectancy for a coarse groove stylus when digitising shellac. By which I mean: after how many hours do you replace them, generally?
I’d be interested to know your thoughts.
Kind regards,
Robert
