The ALA/ALCTS/CAMMS Competencies and Education for a Career in Cataloging Interest Group is looking for a co-chair for 2020-2021. We have one  person already in place (a practitioner), but we need an educator to partner with her to chair the group. We were all set for next year, but our educator had to drop out unexpectedly. The primary responsibility for this position is to come up with a program for ALA Annual 2021 in cooperation with your co-chair (as of now, the IG will no longer have a program or meeting at ALA Midwinter or whatever replaces it).

You'd need to be involved in cataloging education/training and be a member of the American Library Association. (It's a good way to get some national level service for those of you on the tenure track!)
