I've recently donated a substantial collection of music from Eastern Europe to The Wende Museum in Los Angeles: https://www.wendemuseum.org/
Since the collection is both retrospective and stays abreast of new movements, it may never (ever) end.
Could I please ask for suggestions of granting agencies amenable to funding a wide range of tasks?
1. Cataloguing
2. Metadata
3. File maintenance (it's 95% digitized already)
4. And future additions to the catalog / future purchases
I can handle all the public-facing tech challenges on my own.
One reason for asking is that––understandably––some national granting agencies would not be willing to support an international collection.
Any tales of success, frustration, or failure would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
