I have been on the list for years due to my intertest in tape restoration. Disc records and collecting are not my interest. But I love much of the list content!
I am midway through my first year of actual paid membership. I will not be renewing, after reading his rubbish and seeing it in print!
Kurt, please feel the effects of your narrow-minded nastiness.
That letter should have been binned, not printed, not as censorship, but simply because it is so anti-everything. So editors are somewhat guilty too.

Everyone may entitled to their own opinion, but ARSC’s newsletter editor should never have let this screed go to print. Mr. Nauck’s letter is inflammatory and likely so by its author’s intent.

In my sixty-plus years of life I have never met someone to which these two words apply. And in case Mr. Nauck is standing watch over the listserv these days, yeah pal, I’m married to a man and so sorry for you its legal in much of the civilized world.

It does no one any good. If Kurt Nauck wants to vote with his feet, let me be the first to open wide the door.
