Ben-The list a the following URL is records for sale , but there are a
number or Royale records, with serial numbers, but a search for "Romberg"
Yielded nothing. However search for this one Royale1843 and it seems that
they had a themed VictorHerbertWaltzes album, so I think it's likely
that they did a Romberg one too. -Mickey

Hi Mickey,
Sorry to hear about the fire. I cannot imagine how horrible that would be.
Many years ago before I paid any attention to orchestras and labels, I had
an orchestral recording of "Softly...."
I can hear parts of it in my head, but can't remember who played it. I
wish I could.
Sometimes I think it was a 33-1/3 10-inch Royale record and Romberg was
conducting, but I can find no such record anywhere.
Is there a catalogue of 10-inch Royale vinyls somewhere?
Regards,
Ben
