Hi - thank you for your kind offer. We are trying to breath life into
the scans of the BBC Radio Times, compiled into the Genome db, by
researching the old programmes listed, esp. folk and country. It was a
surprise to us that the Beeb used VOA recordings!! Hence our request
for info.
There is also a series of recordings for other music programmes that
we are researching, especially London Folk Song Cellar (1960s)
distributed in the USA by Hartwest.
Meanwhile we have other BBC programmes that you and other folks might like:
"How the West was Sung" - by Charles Chilton
"How the West was Won" - by Charles Chilton
"Great American Railroad" - by Charles Chilton
"The Texas Longhorn" - by Charles Chilton
"I Hear America Singig" - by Charles Chilton
"Blood on the Priary" - by Charles Chilton
"Cabin in the Cotton" - by Charles Chilton
"The Trampling Herd (Texas Longhorn)" - by Charles Chilton
These are all listed on Genome at
