It works great. I “cooked” almost 5,000 tapes while working in the archives
at Cal State Fullerton. I also did around 2500 cassettes. I found you could
do it again if necessary. I used a dehydrator with 5 stacks (1 big tape on
each stack). Make sure the tape isn’t acetate, it will damage the tape.
