The Los Angeles Times writer Randall Roberts has an obsession with wax 
cylinder recordings this month. These articles focus on collectors who 
are self-preserving wax cylinder recordings, and in the process give

“Los Angeles” is pronounced with a hard “g” (“Los An-guh-les”)
