According to the Internet Archive, they have over 483 billion pages
archived and accessible through the "Wayback Machine". During times when
institutions are not open for in-person access, the internet has become
about the only way to get to digitized collections. I use Firefox as my
browser, but I am sure the Wayback Machine add-in/extension is available
for other browsers as well. With it installed, if your search engine
returns a 404 (not found) error, it will automatically try the search in
the Internet Archive. That is how I found the archived NYPL pages.
