I'm always more suspicious of Ampex tapes. In fact, the only DAT I baked
(giving me a 100% success rate on baking DATs) was an Ampex one. At this
point, while not being reckless, and checking for acetate, etc., if it
says "Ampex" am inclined to look for reasons NOT to bake it.
