I'll say it again. CDs are failing. Homemade CD-R discs with time are
proving to deteriorate.
My love is for music. Stability in recorded sound is sensible and there is
nothing more stable than a phono disc.
As master tapes get burned up or lost or destroyed it will be vinyl and 78
rpm discs we'll look to for our history of recorded sound.
Here we see innovation that has more possibilities than "vinyl squared" as
it looks to me musicians will be able to make their own demos with one of
these things, and that is a very, very groovy thing.
