Hi, Mickey,
I have sent you under separate cover an MP3 of the clip I have by Erna
Sack which I have identified as a demo recording of AC BIAS on a
Magnetophon in Berlin on May 12, 1941.
I'm not certain it's the same thing, but there is a huge contrast
between the 1935 DC Bias Beecham/London Philharmonic recording and the
Sack one from 1941.
The 1935 Marconi-Stille recording of "Painting the Clouds with Sunshine"
sounded better than the DC bias Beecham recording in many ways.
Cheers,
Richard
