Third time's a charm? To clarify, we're looking to buy decks to do digitization in house. We've just won a grant to purchase decks and get training for our existing staff. We need to go shopping! So we're looking for businesses to sell us decks that play the formats listed below so we can make preservation quality digital copies in house.
Apologies for the confusion! Happy to be on such a helpful listserv.
Many thanks,
Jen

Subject: digitization equipment for 20th century media items
Dear all,
I apologize for reposting, but I mistyped my email in the original post: it's [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.
Many thanks,

Dear all,
I'm on a team that is tackling our backlog of materials on 20th century media such as: CD, reel to reel audio, audio cassette, CD, DVD, VHS, Betacam, and Umatic. We've received funding and identified one vendor: broadcaststore.com. Does anyone have experiences with this vendor, good or bad? Any experiences with other vendors (to recommend or stay away from)? Any experiences with specific equipment for these formats you recommend or regret using on similar projects?
I'd be grateful for any feedback based on your experiences! Since this is a very specific question, please respond off-list at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>
Many thanks!
