Only the D and HD numbers are significant. Cyrillic D stands for a long unpronounceable word which means Long Playing. The H, actually the Cyrillic N for Novy or new, means it was remastered. Thus, HD 03378 and 79 is the oldest from 1956 despite the Gost number. D 011827 is from 1963, D 017985 is from 1966 and D 022517 is from 1968.
What else do you need to know?

Subject: Re: [ARSCLIST] [MLA-L] Information on Russian LPs
The roct 5289 numbers (pronounced Gost) are government manufacturing standards, and have NOTHING to do with the recording, and should not be considered important. They were changed in 1950, 56, 61, 68, 72, 80, and 86 I believe. They give only an indication of when the copy you are holding was pressed. Remove them.

Perhaps a more appropriate group to ask would be ARSC (Assoc. for
Recorded Sound Collections) or IASA - International Assoc. of Sound
Archives.
