Hi Ben,
The moral of the story is that you need to try your copy on your equipment with the stylus choices at your disposal, and use your ears to decide which is best. You should also try a 2.5 TE before making a decision.
Cheers,
Gary

Thank you, Gary.
I have a 3.3 truncated elliptical in a Stanton 500. I just tried it.
Actually, the Shure 2.7 Conical sounds much better.
So far I've tried Shure 4.0 truncated elliptical , 3.5 truncated elliptical , 2.8 and 2.7 C and 3.5 FCR from Expert Stylus.
The 2.7 Conical sounds best. I guess I'll stick with that.
Thanks anyway.
Regards,
Ben
