Daniel,
I can see now that the <table> structure is not an alternative to
<tspec> inside a <c> hierarchy. I will happily forward my style sheet to
the group on Monday, when I am next in the office.
The problem Panorama seems to have with the Rostovzeff finding aid is
that it needs an element which it can identify as a table in the style
sheet, followed by elements which can be identified as rows and cells.
The definition lists, for example, work fine as a table: the <list> can
be identified as a table in Panorama, the <defitem> as a row and the
<label> and <item> as cells. It's clear that <drow> is a row and
<dentry> is a cell, but what should be identified as a table? <c03> is
the obvious choice, but will sometimes be a subheading instead. When I
try identifying <c03> as a table, the cells are drawn but the column
width varies from row to row.
If others have had any more success with displaying the Rostovzeff
tables in Panorama, I would be very interested in hearing from you.
Yours,
David
