I do believe that the said Baron has bequeathed his name to a disease, namely
Muenchhausen's Syndrome.
The sufferer ( and I mean sufferer ) "invents" any number of complaints ,
usually very carefully researched, and usually to ensure that surgery or other
form of invasive therapy is carried out.
Extreme forms can, I believe lead to acts of self mutilation to support the
delusions.
I am not sure whether the Baron would approve of his inadvertent legacy,
somehow I feel he would be amused.
Regards
John
