f.y.i. Fred is freely availiable for non-commercial use. Fred can be
accessed remotely for any reason via a service here at OCLC
<URL:http:www.oclc.org/fred>, however, local installations of this
software require the signature of a non-commercial licence
agrreement. These can be easily obtained by contacting the project
manager of Fred, Keith Shafer ([log in to unmask]).
I've been using the grammer builder engine (a.k.a. Fred) since we
started it for several projects (12083 SGML to HTML translation,
etc.) and have been quite impressed (ok... I'm a bit bias, but it's a
nice piece of software...)
I have several maps for the EAD DTD to HTML (1.0/2.0/ish) translation,
etc. that I could dig up if there is interest, however, I think you'd
be better off asking the people from Duke (since I'm sure mine are out
of date).
