The DuPont Company is seeking qualified applicants to fill five
vacancies in the Corporate Information Science Function.
Corporate Information Science is part of DuPont's Central
Research and Development Function and serves the corporation's
global technical community.

Job duties may include conceptual analysis of technical documents
and correspondence for inclusion in an internal proprietary
database, online and manual searching of technical, patent,
chemical, engineering, and business information, and regular
reference desk staffing in a large corporate library.
Additionally, Corporate Information Science staff, through
partnerships with the scientific computing community, take the
lead in the corporation in exploring and evaluating new
technologies which can significantly enhance information storage
and retrieval.

Location:  DuPont's Corporate Information Science Function is
located in the greater Wilmington, Delaware, metropolitan area.
Job opportunities in Information Science exist outside the
Wilmington area and are increasing.  The successful candidates(s)
may be assigned to a position outside the Wilmington area.

Qualifications:  BS, MS, or PhD in a scientific or technological
discipline such as Chemistry, Physics, Biology, or Chemical
Engineering and an MS in Library or Information Science.

Skills/Experience:

o   Strong teamwork and networking skills
o   Strong oral and written communication skills
o   Ability to handle and complete multiple assignments
0   High degree of self-motivation and initiative
