One: Many Americans have the same ability to thrive in chaotic situations.
After all, I manage to do well at my school. And as for the Baikonur
astronauts, the American space program was faced with a similarly hopeless
situation during the Apollo 13 mission and got them home safely.
Two:I would be more than happy to join a Mars mission as a member of the SF
delegation. In fact, we could name the first city on Mars 'Bradbury', the
first city on the Moon 'Heinlein', the first city on Titan 'Clarke'..........
Three: Mr. Rossi, maybe we could even play the first game of Martian Soccer.
Can you imagine soccer in .38 gravity? Or for that matter, zero-g soccer on
the spaceship?
-Ben Bjostad, who is currently in panic mode as he faces six final exams in
the space of three days.
