The show was a made for t.v. version of "Independance Day" (but lets not
disturb the dead here). The acting was terrible, the plot was terrible, and I
for one am glad that it was cancelled. "Dark Skies" is a ripoff of "The
X-Files" and is 100x worse (Although I enjoy some X-Files episodes). Both NBC
and Fox screwed up with these two offerings. I hope they don't make the same
mistake next season.

I'm sorry. I do not think that SAAB was really SF, but I was entertained by
it. I'm also entertained by Star Trek. You can call me a philistine and stone
me at the gates, but I am entertained by sci-fi shows such as this.
Dark Skies, I can take or leave. I've watched one episode and I can think of
much better things to do with that hour.
I read a lot of SF for ideas and to intellectually challenge me, but I also
like to be entertained by it. SAAB didn't really intellectually challenge me,
but it was entertaining. It blew the heck out of ID4.
