Now that the subject has come up, I'd like to add another question: Does
anyone out there have any experience (or even 2nd-hand knowledge) on Adobe
FrameMaker+ SGML? It's the only full-featured set of SGML tools that I
know of which run on the Macintosh (other vendors offer only some of the
tools). Since the list price is a whopping $1500, I'm reluctant to invest
without some feedback from people who've used it. I asked this question
previously on the EAD listserv, and got no response. I know of several
colleagues with Macs here at UT-Austin & elsewhere who would also be
interested. For those curious about Adobe FrameMaker+ SGML (it also runs
on Windows 3.1, Sun, HP, and IBM RISC System/6000 platforms), there is
