PALINET has an immediate opening for an Electronic Information Resources
Coordinator.
We are seeking a flexible, energetic, and customer service oriented
individual to handle inquiries, orders, training and support for all
types of electronic information resources
(including both online and CD-ROM), available to member
libraries through PALINET.
PALINET is a multitype library network dedicated to the
support of resource sharing and
technology initiatives among 600 member libraries in
DE, MD, NJ, PA, and WV with offices in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
Qualifications: MLS or equivalent; operational familiarity and at
least two years experience with electronic information
resources such as SilverPlatter databases, Britannica Online,
Dialog, etc.; knowledge of electronic information resources
and publications, particularly with respect to their delivery
via the Web and Internet; knowledge of acquisitions and/or
serials and library reference and public services operations;
business mathematics understanding and strong written and
oral communication skills a must.
Position will require some travel and may require relocation.
PALINET offers an
excellent benefits package. Minimum salary $33,300.
