Well, you're the writer, so I'll be the last to contradict you.
:) However, I guess that the ideas of the author will pass through even
in a piece of fluff...

Parapsychology, was taken seriously and unskeptically over the
centuries, Dennis, and it looks like that also RAH took seriously enough
some parapsychological "facts", such as the case of Brid(l?)ey Murphy. In
my opinion, parapsychology is just another name for magic (or advanced
technology, Cenk! <G>), and as such it takes it's place. And who wouldn't
want to be able to wave a wand, or squeeze a gem, utter "Abracadabra" or
"Sim-sala-bim" and get results? The appeal of parapsychology and magic is
due that you get great results from a very little effort, more or less as
you do with today's science/technology.

Weeellll, she might very well have been a dark brunette with red
reflexes... However, there were two main female character: the queen and
a poor villager young woman, which was on the Dragonslayer side. I meant
the latter.

:::sigh::: "Oh Lord God, you'll be the death of me", Lela). You
can count on a woman to bring things to an extreme... (apologies to the
feminists <G>)

No, I don't think so. I read it as: "if you want to avoid a nasty
situation, take your measures on time."

Huh? Who published them? I guess they're out of print, but now
I'm almost interested in seeing how these books are...

That's not even science. It's just to know how to make good use
of the applications of technology (:-P), which is daughter of science...
